* Patients with type A, the NPD in childhood.
* Patients with type B NPD is a relatively long time to live, but many require supplemental oxygen by causing lung damage.
* The life expectancy of patients with NPD type C and D are variables. Some patients who in childhood, while others live to be less affected until adulthood seem to be.
